Program Details

The Chickasaw Nation has initiated a new option for distributing Chickasaw Motor Vehicle Tag program rebate payments. Rebates will now be available through direct deposit. To receive a direct-deposit payment, individuals will be asked to register in the new program.

Chickasaw Nation license plates are for sale exclusively at state-licensed tag agencies throughout Oklahoma.

To purchase a Chickasaw Nation license plate, citizens will provide a Chickasaw citizenship card to the tag agency. The name on the citizenship card must match the name on the registered vehicle's title.

When requesting a new license plate, or at the time of renewal, standard fees and taxes apply.

If requesting a license plate between renewal dates, a replacement plate fee will apply.

Following the transaction, the Chickasaw Nation will issue a rebate for a percentage of the license plate fees and taxes. The Chickasaw Nation license plate rebate is a continual benefit that is applied at every renewal of registration or payment of excise tax.

The Oklahoma Tax Commission will provide the Chickasaw Nation information for all transactions initiated in the previous month. If additional information is needed to process the rebate, the Chickasaw Nation will contact you.

New process for payment rebate:

  1. Once the rebate is available, you will receive an email from the Chickasaw Nation with a link to register and accept your payment.
  2. Upon providing an email address and a secure password, click “Agree & Complete Registration” to complete your registration.
Note: If entering a mobile number, you will  receive an email or text message with a verification code. Enter the verification code to access your account.
  3. The final step in the registration process is to enter your banking information, including the bank routing number and account number. Once your banking information has been added, authorize the payment by clicking "submit."

Once the rebate is processed, your payment will be deposited directly into your bank account.

To ensure the security of rebate payments, citizens using a shared email address are not eligible for direct deposit.

When providing an email address for the rebate program, please be advised that all information regarding payments will be sent to that email. To protect confidential information and accessibility to funds, a personal, private email address is required to participate in the direct-deposit program. Those sharing an email account with other Chickasaw citizens will receive the rebate payment by mail.

For accurate and timely delivery of rebate payments, citizens should verify or update current mailing and email addresses by visiting Chickasaw.net/Address.
