This program provides victims of sexual assault with an navigator who is on-call 24 hours a day to assist with crisis intervention, safety planning and other needs.

Services are voluntary and available to First Americans ages 15 and older who meet eligibility criteria.

Program Details

The Chickasaw Nation Violence Prevention Services assist victims of sexual assault. Services are voluntary and available to Native Americans ages 15 and older who meet eligibility criteria. A navigator is available and on-call 24 hours a day to assist victims with:

  • Crisis intervention
  • Safety planning
  • Transportation
  • Criminal advocacy
  • Emergency shelter
  • SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Exam)

For assistance Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., call violence prevention services at (580) 272-5580.

For after-hours assistance, call the toll-free hotline at 1 (855) 405-7645.

For emergency assistance, call the Chickasaw Nation Lighthorse Police (580) 436-1166 or present to the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center emergency room.

This hotline connects survivors of crimes and their families with programs and services that meet their needs. These may include law enforcement support, probation management, referrals to domestic violence or sexual assault services, child support, child welfare and other mental health services.

Zero Suicide is a commitment to suicide prevention in health and behavioral health systems. It is both a concept and a practice being implemented by the Chickasaw Nation.
