This incentive-based program provides young Chickasaw citizens assistance with goal setting and provides an opportunity to learn valuable life skills in the company of other individuals seeking a guided path to success.

Applicants must be a Chickasaw citizen 14-21 years of age and a resident of Pontotoc County, Oklahoma.

Program Details

The Chickasaw Nation Hin-oshi' Chokma', or “Good Paths” Program provides young Chickasaw ages 14 to 21 with assistance in goal setting and life skills.

An incentive-based program, Hin-oshi' Chokma' rewards participants with incentives as they accomplish a number of set goals.

Monthly group meetings provide an opportunity to learn valuable life skills in the company of other individuals seeking a guided path to success. Meeting attendees eat lunch together and are entered in a prize drawing.

Hin-oshi' Chokma' mentors strive to make a positive impact on young Chickasaws and use their knowledge and experience to guide participants to a path of success.
