Chokka Chaffaꞌ (One Family)

The Chokka Chaffa’ program is a home-based service for First American families identified as at risk for children being removed from the home. Services emphasize family strengths, promote stability, enhance parental functions and protect children of First American families who live within the Chickasaw Nation.

Applicants must have a First American child in the home and child(ren) must be at risk of removal.

Must reside within the Chickasaw Nation boundaries
Children must be at risk of removal
Must have Native American child in home
Must have an identified need
Must be willing to participate

An intake form and a case service agreement will be completed during the application process for family preservation services.

You Provide

CDIB card
Income verification (including other income, child support, etc.)
Social Security cards for all household members
Monthly budget
Rental letter from landlord
Utility deposit verification
