Eligible Chickasaw elders can receive a $250 annually to purchase clothes.

The Elders Clothing Grant will begin in January of 2025. The application will be available January 1, 2025.

Applications for the elders clothing grant are accepted January 1-Dec. 31.

Eligible Chickasaw elders receive a nonreloadable $250 Visa gift card to purchase clothes. Funding is provided once per year and can be used for clothing purchases only.

Purchasing Guidelines

Purchases are limited to clothing, including but not limited to dresses, shirts, shoes, boots, blouses, pants, shorts, capris, undergarments, jackets, coats, winter gloves and belts.
Unapproved purchases include but are not limited to groceries, makeup, jewelry, perfume, hair products, flip-flops, tobacco, alcohol, swimsuits, cleats and hats.
Ten dollars will be deducted for all replacement cards.

Printed Applications

Mailed applications may take additional time to process.

Award Notification

Qualifying applicants will be notified with an award letter via the U.S. Postal Service.

A nonreloadable Visa card will be issued by mail.

The card must be activated upon receipt.
