The deadline for American Indian students to apply for the Indian Health Service (IHS) Scholarship Program is February 28, 2007, for the academic year 2007-2008. Students wishing to pursue a health career should strongly consider applying.

The Chickasaw Nation Youth Services Department is currently accepting nominations from school officials for Chickasaw Student of the Year, Chickasaw Athlete of the Year, Chickasaw Musician of the Year and Chickasaw Artist of the Year. Awards will be presented to males and females in grades 10, 11 and 12.
