Chickasaw Nation Election Secretary Jerri Martin announced candidates seeking four legislative seats and one judicial seat within the Chickasaw Nation. The filing period closed at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 3, for the 2026 general election.
Pontotoc District Seat 3 incumbent legislator J. Lisa Impson, Ada, Oklahoma, was unchallenged for the seat and will retain the position.
Pontotoc District Seat 4 incumbent legislator Karen Goodnight, Goldsby-Norman, Oklahoma, was unchallenged for the seat and will retain the position.
Pickens District Seat 2 incumbent legislator Connie Barker, Marietta, Oklahoma, was unchallenged for the seat and will retain the position.
Tishomingo District Seat 3 incumbent legislator Dusk Monetathchi, Sulphur, Oklahoma, was unchallenged for the seat and will retain the position.
Incumbent Supreme Court Justice Cheri Bellefeuille-Gordon, Sulphur, Oklahoma, was unchallenged for seat 3 and will retain the position.
The candidates who did not draw an opponent will be elected by a one-vote margin. The act of filing for office shall be counted as an affirmative vote.
