In celebration of the important roles they fill within the community, Chickasaw elders are invited to a day of appreciation hosted by the Chickasaw Nation.
Elders can spend the day with fun and fellowship at the Chickasaw Council House Museum in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. Refreshments, door prizes, cultural exhibits and more will be provided.
Chickasaw Elder Appreciation Day is Nov. 5 from 9 a.m.-4 p.m.
