Violence Prevention Services assists victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking who are residing or relocating within the Chickasaw Nation. These services are voluntary and available to First American victims and their dependents, and others who meet eligibility criteria.

Program Details

Violence Prevention Services offers a variety of services to assist victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking who are residing or relocating within the Chickasaw Nation boundaries. These services are voluntary and available to First American victims and their dependents, and others who meet eligibility criteria.

  • Domestic violence and intimate partner violence exams

For assistance Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., call the Chickasaw Nation Violence Prevention Services.

Emergency Shelter Services
“Chonkash Yohbi Chuka” is an emergency shelter open to First American women and their dependents, regardless of tribal affiliation, who are fleeing a domestic violence situation. The facility is a safe, comfortable environment with all the usual home amenities.

  • Culturally-focused
  • Advocacy/emotional support
  • Career development
  • Transportation
  • Tribal/Social services referrals

Zero Suicide is a commitment to suicide prevention in health and behavioral health systems. It is both a concept and a practice being implemented by the Chickasaw Nation.
