Chickasaw Nation Community Center and Senior Center Opening

Please join Governor Bill Anoatubby and tribal representatives for a special ribbon cutting and opening festivities of the new Chickasaw Nation Community Center and Chickasaw Nation Senior Center.

10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

10 a.m. — Program begins -ribbon cutting
10:30 a.m. — Food service begins under tent, booths open and tours of facilities
2 p.m. — Opening festivities conclude

DIRECTIONS

Additional parking will be available at the following locations:

  • On North Tulsa Avenue, just north of NW 39th Expressway.
  • On Perimeter Center Drive, just north of NW 39th Expressway.
  • Old Republic Title Company, located at 4040 North Tulsa Avenue.

Please watch for parking signage in the area. Shuttles will be available to transport you from the parking lots to the event and back to the parking lots throughout the day.

The Chickasaw Nation Dance Troupe will be performing every 45 minutes beginning at 10:30 a.m.

Social stickball games will take place on the lawn east of the Chickasaw Nation Community Center following the ribbon cutting ceremony.

If you would like to enroll or update your files, please bring:

CDIB and Citizenship

  • State-issued birth certificate with state registrar signature and state file number
  • Death certificates
  • Copies of court orders
  • Recent color photographs for persons 12 years of age or older

Voter Registration

  • Chickasaw citizenship card
  • Color photographs no smaller than 1 1/2" by 1 1/4"

Biometric Screenings

Biometric screenings will be available, for those who wish to participate, to provide a current health assessment. A biometric screening is a short  health exam that provides information about your risk for certain diseases and medical conditions. Knowing your results helps you understand where  you can take action to improve your health.

  • Fasting is recommended. For most accurate results, do not eat or drink anything except water for eight hours prior to screening.
  • Drink plenty of water, which will make it easier to give a blood sample.
  • Continue taking medication as prescribed on the day of your biometric screening.
