Program Details

Empowered Living offers specialized, interdisciplinary care designed to help youth ages 2-18 achieve their health and wellness goals. The clinic provides a comprehensive range of services to support children and adolescents with a Body Mass Index (BMI) at or above the 85th percentile. The clinic is referral-based, offering personalized support to guide young people toward healthier lifestyles.

What to Expect

  • Visits take place at Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada or Ardmore Health Clinic.
  • You and your child will meet with members of a care team that may include a doctor, dietitian, physical therapist and behavioral health specialist. This will depend on your family’s needs at each visit.
  • We will cover physical activity, nutrition and emotional well-being in a way that feels manageable and motivating.
  • You will leave each visit with clear next steps, realistic goals and tools you can use at home.
  • Families are key. We support the whole household, not just the child.​
