Program Details

Patients must have an appointment to enter any Chickasaw Nation Department of Health (CNDH) facility. Walk-in appointments are not available.

COVID-19 Testing

COVID-19 testing is required for most dental procedures and preventative care treatments. Staff will navigate patients through the rapid testing process prior to appointment time. Required testing must be completed within 72 hours of a scheduled dental appointment. Appointments will be rescheduled if a patient tests positive for COVID-19.

Urgent Dental Care

Urgent dental care remains available to patients at all locations. Call the dental call center for assistance. A virtual dental visit may be scheduled on the same day to determine next steps for emergent dental patients.

For questions or assistance with emergent concerns, contact the dental call center at (580) 421-4596. The call center and clinic is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday – Friday.

Urgent/emergent Care (pain/swelling) Appointments:

  • A virtual visit appointment with a dentist will assess the patient and urgency for an on-site appointment.
  • The staff will communicate next steps based on the assessment and recommendation of the dentist.
  • The virtual visit process replaces the former walk-in process. All patients must have an appointment.

The Chickasaw Nation Dental Clinic is located on the second floor within the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center, and services are also available at all three satellite clinics. Our dental clinic team consists of hygienists, general dentists, oral surgeons, pediatric dentists, an endodontist, and is supported by dental assistants and dental therapists.

Services offered include: exams, cleanings, fluoride varnish applications, sealants, well-baby screenings, head-start exams, restorations and simple extractions.

Other Information

The dental clinic offers specialty services such as pediatrics, endodontics, prosthodontics and oral surgery. In order to qualify for our specialty services, patients need to be a patient of record and have a current exam from our dental department. Additional requirements to see specialty providers can be discussed with the dentist during an initial exam.
