Chickasaw Employment Access participants and other eligible Chickasaw citizens can access a variety of preemployment training services. Some available options include resume’ development, interview skills training, job application assistance, job search support and employment advocacy.

  • At least 18 years old
  • Unemployed or underemployed

Some services require participants to live in the Chickasaw Nation service area.

You Provide
  • Verification of residence (rent receipts, utility bills, etc.)
  • CDIB
  • Citizenship card

Male applicants may need to provide a letter of acknowledgment from selective service.

Program Details

Career Services houses the Career Advocacy and Career Pathways programs. Both offer job readiness services to Chickasaw Employment Access participants and other eligible Chickasaw citizens, including citizens who are employed by the Chickasaw Nation. These programs develop job readiness skills and help participants identify and remove barriers to gaining and retaining employment.

Citizens receive one-on-one attention with interview skills, job searches and advocacy upon request.

Whether participants are feeling nervous about applying, have not interviewed recently, feel unfamiliar with how the process works or are just looking for a fresh start in a new position, Career Services is ready to encourage and assist.
