Due to inclement weather, Chickasaw Nation offices will be closed Jan. 26, 2026.

Chickasaw Nation Department of Health (CNDH) employees should follow CNDH inclement weather protocols and policy. Chickasaw Nation Department of Commerce businesses should follow their line of support regarding inclement weather guidance.

The College Native Explorers program provides college-age students a guided exploration of the natural world.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, an enrolled member of a federally recognized tribe, have positive academic standing and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Program Details

The college-age Native Explorers program offers guided exploration of the natural world to First American college students. Participants will travel with a team of First American research scientists, educators and physicians on a scientific and cultural expedition.
