Motivated and academically successful Chickasaw students can earn incentives and recognition for their hard work. The Chickasaw Honor Club rewards participants in three areas: grade incentive, perfect attendance and outstanding achievement.
Applications for the grade and perfect attendance incentive are open:
Fall: Dec. 15-Feb. 1
Spring: May 15-July 1
New applications must be submitted for each semester. Grade reports must be included within 30 days of the end of the semester.
Grade and Perfect Attendance Incentives
Grade Incentive
Open to Chickasaw students in grades two-12 with an approved application, once per semester. Students earning all A's receive a $40 gift card. Students earning A's and B's receive a $20 gift card.
Student's caregiver is responsible for submitting grade reports, along with the application within 30 days of the last day of the semester.
Students may be recognized at the end of each semester for up to two awards per year.
Perfect Attendance
Open to Chickasaw citizens in grades two-12. Students are eligible for perfect attendance rewards each semester.
A $40 gift card is awarded to students with perfect attendance once per semester.
Student's caregiver is responsible for submitting grade reports, along with the application within 30 days of the last day of the semester.
Students may be recognized at the end of each semester for up to two awards per year.
Outstanding Achievement
This recognizes high achieving Chickasaw students for their participation in activities both in and out of the classroom. Applications for outstanding achievement are awarded on a monthly basis throughout the school year and are open year-round. Nomination categories include:
- Athletics
- Music
- Art
- Journalism
- FFA/FHA (Future Farmers and Future Homemakers of America)
- Citizenship
- Band
- Dance
- Theater/Drama
- Academic Achievement
- Other
This award is open to students both within and outside of Chickasaw Nation boundaries. Applications can be submitted once per academic year.
Students can be nominated by coaches, mentors, school staff or other individuals not related to them. Selections are made each month. Students who are chosen will receive a certificate and prize. Award recipients are published in the Chickasaw Times.
To apply, students must:
- be a Chickasaw citizen
- be in grades two-12
- provide school photo
- submit complete application, including biography and nomination
