Art of the Chickasaw Woman Exhibit

To showcase the art, strength, spirit and creativity of Chickasaw women, the division of arts and humanities hosts the “Art of the Chickasaw Woman” exhibit. This exhibit is held in conjunction with the annual Dynamic Women of the Chickasaw Nation Conference and Forum. The exhibit consists of Chickasaw women artists who will have the opportunity to submit up to three entries of artwork that can include photography, textiles, traditional, two-dimensional and three-dimensional art. This artwork will be for display and viewing by participants and guests during the conference and forum. The exhibit opens with a reception at the conference and forum and then is moved for public display to the gallery at the arts and humanities building in Ada. The exhibit will be on display at the gallery for several weeks for public viewing.
