Chickasaw Arts Academy

The Chickasaw Arts Academy is an intensive exploration of various artistic fields that provides career preparatory programming and student skill development.

The academy is a 12 day course on the campus of East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, culminating with a fine arts gala and performing arts showcase highlighting students’ work.

The gala is a public reception that displays visual art pieces, musical compositions and culinary creations. The showcase is a two-hour event that highlights and incorporates all disciplines of the performing arts into one major musical production.

All students participate in special cultural enrichment activities and receive education in Chickasaw and Southeast Native American cultures.

Student Levels
