ADA, Okla. – Tre Twitty and Tayla Lynn, the grandchildren of country music legends Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn, have been traveling the world with a special goal – honor their famous grandparents and keep their music alive.

The duo’s next big show, “Twitty and Lynn: A Salute to Conway and Loretta,” is set for 7 p.m. March 28 at the McSwain Theatre, 130 W. Main St.

The show is a hit, largely due to the timeless country ballads they perform. Fans experience classic duets like “After the Fire Is Gone” and “You’re the Reason Our Kids Are Ugly,” along with solo hits like “Hello Darlin’” and “Coal Miner’s Daughter.” Beyond the songs, Tre and Tayla are reviving a piece of country music history.

“Conway has been gone 30 years,” Tre says. “If he had lived longer, I think he and Loretta would have had an incredible second act. A lot of people would have loved to see that, and we’re giving them a way to relive it.”

They’ve built a loyal fan base, even catching the attention of Nashville. In 2022, they made their debut at the Grand Ole Opry, performing “Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man” on the same stage where Conway and Loretta once stood.

“Conway and Loretta put their hearts into everything – the way they dressed, the way they performed, the way they recorded their songs,” Tayla says. “We want to bring that same passion to fans, whether they grew up with our grandparents’ music or are just discovering it now.”

Tre and Tayla’s performance is full of energy and heartfelt emotion. Whether they’re singing to each other or sharing stories of their grandparents, their passion for the music shines through.

“Our show gives people a glimpse of what Loretta and Conway were really like,” Tre adds. “It’s a special way to keep their memory alive.”
