The Chickasaw Nation will host a history camp 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., July 18-20, touring historic sites in Tishomingo, Durant and Atoka.

Participants ages 8-14 will enjoy activities including stickball, fishing and kite flying as well as crafting stickballs, arrows and fishing nets.

Campers will meet at the Chickasaw National Capitol Building, 411 W. Ninth St., every morning, then set off to tour the Chickasaw Council House and Museum, Chickasaw White House, Chickasaw National Capitol Building, Boggy Depot and Fort Washita.

This event is open to the public at no charge, limited to 30 participants. Lunch will be provided.
