ADA, Okla. – The Chickasaw Nation Arts and Humanities Division is currently accepting applications for the Chickasaw School of Guitar.

Classes begin Monday, Sept. 11, and run through December. Classes will be conducted Tuesday evenings with intermediate guitar at 4 p.m., beginner guitar and guitar basics at 5 p.m. and adult/advanced guitar at 6 p.m.

The new art and music facility, 816 Arlington Center, will offer classes for the basics of guitar, beginners, intermediate and adult/advanced.

Students who commit to the program for one year and attend regularly have the opportunity to receive a guitar.

School of Guitar instructors have a combined 40 years of teaching experience and have played professionally using many genres of music styles.

The School of Guitar is open to the public. Chickasaw preference will be given.
