“Given my time serving the Chickasaw Nation as a vendor, I saw the opportunity to work directly for the Chickasaw Nation as a great opportunity to serve their mission,” Mr. Boyd said. “I’m motivated to be a part of ‘One Tribe, One Mission,’ knowing that any value our teams are able to create go toward something much bigger than ourselves.”

With Mr. Boyd’s recent appointment to executive officer, his commitment to the Chickasaw Nation and the continued development of his teammates remains steadfast.

“My current departments are a service to our Commerce business units,” he said. “We’re built to assist in marketing planning and new revenue creation. We achieve success by ensuring our services are in line with the goals and objectives of the Chickasaw businesses we serve.

Department goals, he said, included assisting his team individuals with personal growth while ensuring the department served the immediate and future needs of tribal businesses.

For Mr. Boyd, the appointment comes as a special honor and a new chapter in a career built upon a passion for people, the common good and the golden rule.
