by Chickasaw Nation Media Relations Office

ADA, Oklahoma – After more than five decades of covering local gridiron action, SCORE (South Central Oklahoma Radio Enterprises) will begin livestreaming games this fall for Ada High School and East Central University (ECU), in addition to traditional radio coverage.

Ada High School varsity football and basketball will be covered by KADA, 99.3 FM. The station has an exclusive agreement to broadcast Ada games and will offer both audio and video on its website, kadaradio.net.

Longtime local resident Kenny Morrison will continue as the official “voice of the Cougars” for both football and basketball.

East Central University football games will be covered by KXFC, 105.5 FM. KXFC has exclusive rights to broadcast East Central University football games, and will stream both audio and video on their website, xfactorradio.net. Video streaming for ECU will only be available for home games, per Great American Conference (GAC) policy.

Longtime play-by-play host Mike Manos will continue his duties for football, with Kenny Morrison handling basketball season.

The radio stations are part of a six station group, SCORE, which is owned and operated by the Chickasaw Nation.

Adding streaming services is a direct result of listeners’ feedback, SCORE Broadcasting General Manager Roger Harris said.

“Bringing video streaming to Ada and ECU, along with the radio broadcast is a big investment in both equipment and personnel. It is something that fans have been requesting for a while now. I’m thankful to the Chickasaw Nation for providing us the backing to make this big leap in covering local sports,” Harris said.

Ada High School’s football season kicks off at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Sept. 3, with the Ada Cougars facing the Ardmore High School Tigers. The game will be livestreamed as well as covered on the radio.

ECU’s first home game, 6 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 11, at Koi Ishto Stadium against Arkansas Tech will be both livestreamed and covered on the radio.

The university’s first game, Saturday, Sept. 4, at Harding University, Searcy, Arkansas, will be covered on radio only.
