South Central Oklahoma Radio Enterprise (SCORE) Broadcasting in Ada announced it has signed exclusive agreements with four major area sports entities for another season on its Chickasaw Nation-owned commercial radio stations.
Roger Harris, SCORE Broadcasting general manager, said the agreements include football and basketball games for Ada High School, East Central University, the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University.
Harris said sports have been an important part of the stations’ format for more than 40 years.
“Sports have always been an integral part of our programming ever since I came to the station in 1978,” Harris said.
“We are really proud of our partners with Ada Public Schools, East Central University, OU and OSU, and so far, they seem proud of the job we do for them. Our stations cover a huge part of the Chickasaw Nation, and with streaming we potentially have a worldwide audience,” he said.
