The McSwain Theatre will host its Thursday movie showcase throughout May, featuring classic and family-friendly films with showtimes at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. each Thursday.

Tickets for the movie showcase are $3 for general admission, $2 for seniors and $2 for children ages 12 and under. A $5 combo deal is also available and includes a movie ticket, popcorn and a drink.

The May lineup includes:

May 14 — “National Velvet” (1944)

A determined English girl forms an unbreakable bond with a spirited horse and dares to chase her dream of racing in the Grand National. With the support of her family, she learns that courage and belief can carry you farther than anyone expects.

May 21 — “All That Heaven Allows” (1955)

A widowed woman in a small New England town finds unexpected love with her younger gardener, challenging rigid social norms and expectations. As gossip and pressure mount, she must choose between conformity and following her heart.

May 28 — “Angels in the Outfield” (1994)

When a struggling baseball team gets an unlikely boost, a young fan believes angels are helping guide their plays on the field. As hope spreads through the season, faith, teamwork and a little magic remind everyone why they love the game.

McSwain Theatre Showcase featuring Jae L. & Crossover

Join Jae L. & Crossover for a live music performance featuring classic country and gospel hits at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 16. Tickets are on sale now.

Guest performers will include Tishia Agee, Debbie Allen, Chandler Elliott and Emily Rhyne of Ada, Oklahoma; Michael Webb of Lawton, Oklahoma; Jared Sutton of Maud, Oklahoma; Tim Reich of Sasakwa, Oklahoma; Tara Scott, of Duncan, Oklahoma; Larry Kent of Konawa, Oklahoma; and Luke Moody of St. Augustine, Texas.

Tickets for the concert are $15 for regular admission, $13 for seniors and $10 for children. Special rates are available for groups of 15 or more.
