SULPHUR, Okla. – The Chickasaw Nation will host the Chikasha Ihoo Empowerment Series from 2-4 p.m., Aug. 27, at the Chickasaw Cultural Center, located at 867 Cooper Memorial Drive.
The series features prominent Chickasaw women who speak on important topics related to their point of view. The series highlights the unique perspective of Chickasaw women worldwide.
The upcoming session will feature a presentation from Chickasaw citizen Hailey Robinson, a children’s author, entrepreneur and doctoral student specializing in developmental education.
Robinson recognizes the importance of representation in educational spaces through the power of storytelling. She recently published “Malashia’s Magical Twists” in 2023.
