The Chickasaw Nation will celebrate National Tell a Fairy Tale Day, 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 24, by inviting children and adults alike to listen, share or read their favorite stories, at the arts and humanities building, 201 N. Broadway, Ada, Oklahoma.

A fairy tale is a fictional story often featuring folkloric characters such as fairies, goblins, elves, trolls, giants, mermaids, gnomes or other mythical beings. Magical and enchanting themes also tend to show up in fairy tales.

This fairy tale experience is open to the public at no charge. All participants are invited to bring a sack lunch and listen to or share their favorite fairy tales.
