Chickasaw Nation Election Secretary Rita Loder announced results of the July 25, 2017 general election.

Pickens District Seat 2 incumbent legislator Connie Barker of Marietta received 1,578 votes to defeat challenger Michael Thomas Watson of Ardmore, who received 583 votes.

Pontotoc District Seat 3 will be filled by J. Lisa Impson of Ada, who received 2,321 votes to defeat Kymberly Hazlett of Purcell, who received 737 votes.

Tishomingo District Seat 3 incumbent Steven Woods of Davis will retain his seat as he was unchallenged.

Pontotoc District Seat 4 will be filled by Karen Goodnight of Goldsby, as she was unchallenged for the seat.

Incumbent Supreme Court Justice Cheri L. Bellefeuille-Gordon of Sulphur was unchallenged and will retain Seat 3 on the court.

Elected officials will take the oath of office Monday, Oct. 2.

Supreme Court:
Seat 3 - Cheri L. Bellefeuille-Gordon, Sulphur - incumbent – no challenger - reelected
