Partnership between the Chickasaw Foundation and Vision Bank provides complimentary access to financial literacy courses, workshops, and more.
ADA, Okla. — The Chickasaw Foundation has received a $50,000 donation, distributed over two years, from Vision Bank to assist in providing financial literacy resources at no charge.
“This partnership represents an important step forward in equipping Chickasaw citizens, their families, Chickasaw Nation employees and more with the knowledge and tools needed to make informed financial decisions and protect themselves from fraud,” Justin Williams, president of the Chickasaw Foundation, said. “We are grateful to Vision Bank for their investment and shared commitment to strengthening the financial well-being of our communities.”
Through this initiative, Vision Bank will provide their financial literacy program, Banzai, at no cost. In addition to the online program, in-person workshops, seminars and other sessions will be made available. The Chickasaw Foundation will collaborate with Vision Bank to promote awareness of these resources and ensure Chickasaw families and the public are informed and able to access these opportunities.
“Vision Bank is grateful for the opportunity to again partner with the Chickasaw Foundation, and this initiative builds on our relationship in a meaningful way,” Steve Bagwell, president and CEO of Vision Bank, said. “Together, we’re working to strengthen our communities through collaboration and shared purpose. By expanding access to financial knowledge and trusted resources, this partnership creates new opportunities for long-term resilience and confidence. We hope citizens will take full advantage of these tools to achieve greater financial independence.”
The goal of this partnership is to expand access to high-quality financial literacy education, empowering individuals and families with the knowledge and tools to support and strengthen their overall financial well-being.
