The Chickasaw Nation Division of Arts and Humanities is hosting an open enrollment and member update session for the Chickasaw Children’s Choir. The enrollment is open to children between the ages of eight and 19.

As part of the choir, the children will learn performance and vocalization techniques, be taught songs in the Chickasaw language, make new friends, perform across the state and have a lot of fun.

Those interested can enroll at any of the locations listed below. All enrollment and update sessions are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.

PURCELL - Monday, August 20, at the Chickasaw Nation Area Office, 1603 S. Green Avenue

SULPHUR – Tuesday, August 21, at the Chickasaw Nation Senior Citizen Nutrition Site, 410 E. Oklahoma

TISHOMINGO – Thursday, August 23, at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center, 1101 W. Ray Branum

ADA – Monday, August 27, in room 147 of Faust Hall, 12th Street and Francis, on the campus of East Central University

ARDMORE – Thursday, August 30, at the Chickasaw Nation Area Office, 39 N. Washington
