ADA, Okla. -- Work produced by Chickasaw Summer Arts Academy (CSAA) students will be featured Thursday and Friday on the Campus of East Central University.

Accomplishments of younger students will be featured beginning 2:30 p.m. Thursday, July 26 in the Faust Hall Auditorium.

The showcase will include vocal, dance, visual and literary arts as well as theatre performances.

The older group of CSAA students will celebrate their efforts Friday, July 27, in the Dorothy Summers Theatre.

“A Journey Continues Through the Arts: Chickasaws Celebrate 100 Years” will begin 5 p.m. with a gallery walk exhibiting handcrafted visual art works and reception.

Doors to the theatre open at 5:30, with the showcase scheduled to begin at 5:45 p.m. featuring readings of original works, a one-act play, dance performances, original video productions and original music compositions performed by a string quartet.
