Elders Day

Elders Day held at Kullihoma. This is an event to honor the elders. Entertainment included the Shackelford's, Michael Cornelias and the stomp dancers. 

Hall of Fame Awards

The Chickasaw Hall of Fame held at the Riverwind Casino. Honorees were Winchester Colbert, Gene Underwood, Ray McCarter, and Juanita Tate. 

Justice Camp - Camp Yakni Moma Alphisa

Justice For A Nation- Courts and Processes. Kids were given tours of the Chickasaw National Capitol, the Counsel House Museum, the Pontotoc County Jail, the CLEET facility, the Lighthorse Police Station and the Chickasaw District Court in Ada. 

Summer Arts Academy

Chickasaw Summer Arts Academy held on the East Central Univeristy Campus. This two week camp teach children about different types of art including dance, vocal, visual, video, composition and literary art. 

Tulsa Gathering

The Chickasaw Gathering in Tulsa, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tulsa Renaissance, 6808 S. 107th East Avenue in the Madrid Ballroom. 145 citizens attended as well as 250 guests. 

Lighthorse Police Academy

Photo from the inaugural Lighthorse Police Academy for Chickasaw teenagers.
The two day camp was held at the Lighthorse Police offices for youth ages 13-17. Eleven youth partticipated in the camp. Jason O'Neil and Lt. Governor Jefferson Keel presented the awards during the closing ceremories.

McSwain Show

Johnson OMalley Youth Retreat

Event Date: 06/16/2008

Johnson OMalley retreat to the state capital in Oklahoma City. State Representative Lisa Billy spoke to the kids and posed for a photo. The kids were given a tour of the capital. 

Tennis Camp for kids
