National Night Out is “America's Night Out Against Crime”. This years event was held on the campus of East Central University in Ada Oklahoma on August 5, 2008 from 6pm to 9pm.

The Chickasaw Gathering in Tulsa, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tulsa Renaissance, 6808 S. 107th East Avenue in the Madrid Ballroom. 145 citizens attended as well as 250 guests.

Archery Camp

The two day camp was held at the Lighthorse Police offices for youth ages 13-17. Eleven youth partticipated in the camp. Jason O'Neil and Lt. Governor Jefferson Keel presented the awards during the closing ceremories.
