Camp Hayaka Unta Spring

Photos from the 2009 Spring Hayaka Unta camp. The three day event included hiking, fishing, making dream catchers, clay target shooting, archery, bow-making and a chili cook-off. The camp was held at the Chickasaw Ranch in Davis, Oklahoma.

FIRST Robotics: Regional Competition

Photos from the Oklahoma City F.I.R.S.T. Robotics Competition. Chickasaw Nation's Metal Mayhem (#2352) competed in the event. The competition was two days held in the Cox Convention Center.

Elder's Valentine Sweetheart Banquet

2009 Elder's Valentine Sweetheart Banquet was held at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center in Tishomingo on February 13, 2009.  Each senior site chose a King and Queen or two Sweethearts to represent them.  The event had entertainment, lunch and chocolate covered strawberries from Bedré Fine Chocolates.

Elders Thanksgiving Luncheon

Photo from the 2008 Elders' Thanksgiving Luncheon. The event was conducted at the Agriplex in Ada, Oklahoma. Lt. Governor Keel gave the welcome speech. The Chickasaw princesses performed the Lords' prayer, the Elder Singers sang four Choctaw Hymns and the Chickasaw Language Club performed a short skit.
