The Chickasaw Nation Department of Culture and Humanities is working with the University of Iowa Native Policy Lab (NPL) on Project Return.
This initiative provides Indian boarding school survivors copies of their student records at no cost. All returned records are confidential. The NPL is only accepting requests from living survivors at this time.
Survivors can request records through the NPL by filling out a request form to link Chickasaw citizens directly to the online portal.
