The annual Lowak Sho'li: First Americans Humanities Forum is Nov. 17 from 6-8 p.m. at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center in Ada, Oklahoma.
In the Chickasaw language, lowak sho'li means “to carry the fire.” This program hopes to keep the flame and desire Chickasaw people have for the arts and humanities alive as it passes from one generation to the next.
