Families with children in pre-K through 12th grade who qualify for free or reduced-cost school meals or participate in certain state or federal programs may qualify for food assistance this summer. This federally funded program is available to children in participating school districts.
Each qualifying child receives a food allowance valued at $120 for the summer. Funds are loaded onto an EBT card (which works like a debit card) to purchase nutritious foods at authorized grocery stores. Participation does not affect any other government or tribal assistance you or your child receive.
If your child already qualifies for free or reduced-cost meals through their school, they may have been enrolled automatically. Before applying, please call the Chickasaw Nation Summer EBT Program at (580) 272-1178 to verify whether your child is already registered to receive benefits. All information is kept strictly confidential as required by law. If you are not automatically enrolled, applications are open through Aug. 30.
