Youth Arts Month is an annual, nationwide celebration emphasizing the value of the visual arts and art education for all children while encouraging public support for quality, accessible art programs. This event will take place at the Chickasaw Nation Ada Community Center.
The theme for this year’s celebration is “The World Needs Art”.
Children of all ages are invited to explore their artistic abilities at creative booths. Performances will take place by the Chickasaw Nation School of Dance.
The Chickasaw Nation provides many creative opportunities for youth throughout the year, including the Chickasaw Arts Academy, After School Art Program, Chickasaw Young Artist Studio and more.
