Join the Chickasaw Nation to celebrate Youth Arts Month (YAM) at the Ada Community Center.
The theme for this year’s celebration is “Healing Through Color.”
Children of all ages are invited to explore their artistic abilities at creative activity booths. This event is open to the public and free to attend.
YAM is an annual nationwide celebration that emphasizes the value of the visual arts and art education for all children and encourages public support for quality art programs.
The Chickasaw Nation provides many creative opportunities for youth throughout the year, including the Chickasaw Arts Academy, After School Arts Program, the Chickasaw Young Artist Studio and more.
