Chickasaw females ages 7-25 can discover what it takes to be a Chickasaw Princess at this special training event. Instructors will go over necessary eligibility and documents, teach about traditional dress, discuss pageant tips and tricks, provide language lessons and practice interview skills.
The Chickasaw Princesses serve as ambassadors of the Chickasaw Nation and advocate for their community and tribe during their reign, exemplifying servant leadership.
The Chickasaw Princess Pageant crowns the year’s royalty each fall during the Chickasaw Annual Meeting and Festival.
Age requirements:
- 17-25 for Chickasaw Princess
- 12-16 for Chickasaw Junior Princess
- 7-11 for Little Miss Chickasaw
Each applicant must be a registered citizen of the Chickasaw Nation and at least one-quarter Chickasaw. They must live within the Chickasaw Nation and be currently enrolled in a recognized educational institution or employed in a professional capacity. Additional eligibility requirements apply.
