Young Chickasaw women ages 14-18 are provided with supplies, helpful tips and artistic space to create an entry for the upcoming Butterfly Art Contest during this free workshop.
Participants can create an original butterfly work of art, with the option to enter it in the contest. The winner of the Butterfly Art Contest will have their art featured on the advertising for the Dynamic Women of the Chickasaw Nation Conference, as well as receive a cash prize and certificate.
The workshop will take place at the Chickasaw Nation Arts & Humanities Building classroom in Ada and is free to attend. Materials are provided and registration is required.
