Out of an abundance of caution and to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, or COVID-19, certain Chickasaw Nation events, classes, facilities, etc., will be postponed, canceled or closed. For a complete list of postponements, cancellations or closures, visit the COVID-19 INFORMATION page. We will continue to update the list as the situation progresses.
The Chickasaw Nation Division of Arts and Humanities is offering classes in public speaking throughout the year to assist and encourage employees and others who normally avoid speaking before groups to learn how to be a better communicator. Classes are approximately four hours in length to ensure enough time for attendees to practice before their fellow classmates. Full participation by attendees is required.
Each class is limited to no more than fifteen participants in order to ensure adequate discussion time and practice. Classes are taught in the Division of Arts and Humanities’ black box theatre.
