A Saturday Arts Program

COVID-19 UPDATES

Out of an abundance of caution and to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus, or COVID-19, certain Chickasaw Nation events, classes, facilities, etc., will be postponed, canceled or closed. For a complete list of postponements, cancelations or closures, visit the COVID-19 INFORMATION page. We will continue to update the list as the situation progresses.

To provide opportunities for Chickasaw and other students to develop in the arts through specific art projects offered after school and/or Saturdays.   Completed artworks have the opportunity for submission into competitions including Red Earth and the Oklahoma Arts Education Association’s Young Peoples Art Exhibit.

Art classes are taught by degreed arts educators and certified art instructors.

Projects have included:  drawing, painting, ceramics, mixed media and textiles.

  • Chickasaw citizenship card

Eligibility

  • Must be in grades three to six
