Food, exploration and holiday fun await visitors during the Chickasaw Nation’s 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 9, progressive dinner event called “Christmas at the Museums.” The event is open to the public at no charge.

Guests of progressive dinners enjoy the various courses of a meal at different locations.

This Chickasaw progressive dinner will include a trek through Chickasaw country, making stops to eat and browse museums and historic locations amid festive d├ęcor and holiday music.

Dinner will begin with appetizers at the Chickasaw Council House in Tishomingo, followed by an Indian taco dinner at the historic Chickasaw Capitol in Tishomingo and dessert at the Chickasaw White House in Milburn. Shuttles will be available to reach Milburn from Tishomingo.

Santa Claus will visit with guests during dessert at the White House and an elf will tell stories at the capitol.
