SULPHUR, Okla. – The Easter bunny will be making an appearance at the upcoming Easter Celebration Saturday, April 8, at the Chickasaw Cultural Center, 867 Cooper Memorial Road.

Activities will begin at 10 a.m. and the Easter egg hunt will start at 1 p.m. Other festivities include games, stomp dances and cultural demonstrations.

The family-friendly film “Hop” will be played at 3 p.m. in the Anoli’ Theater. 
The celebration is open to the public at no charge. 

In addition, the AapisaźžŒ Nachi Chickasaw Quilt Exhibit is open until June 30. The exhibit features beautiful handcrafted quilts made by Chickasaw elders. 

Passed down from generation to generation, many of the quilts displayed in the exhibit tell stories of family history. 

In observance of Easter, the Chickasaw Cultural Center will be closed Sunday, April 16.
