  • Participants at the 2017 Children’s Fair join hands during a group stomp dance. The 17th Annual Children’s Fair will take place Saturday, April 7, at the Pontotoc County Agri-Plex.

ADA, Okla. – The Chickasaw Nation is hosting the 17th Annual Children’s Fair 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 7, at the Pontotoc County Agri-Plex, 1710 N. Broadway. The fair recognizes Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The theme, “Explore, Dream and Discover Around the World,” will show children the importance of celebrating the diversity of others and provide a global perspective of the world.

Information regarding child abuse and neglect prevention, community organizations and various activities for children and families will be available.

Rides, games, food, a petting farm and entertainment will be available at the event. Local civil servants, such as police and firefighters, will also attend.

The event is open to the public at no charge.

To reserve a booth at this year’s fair, please complete the booth form at www.Chickasaw.net/Prevention. The deadline to reserve a booth is Thursday, March 29.
