ADA, Okla. – The Chickasaw Nation is hosting the 10th Annual Child Support Awareness event from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Chickasaw Community Center, 700 N. Mississippi.

The event will feature a number of fun-filled activities, games and attractions. Free snacks and refreshments will be served.

The child support awareness event celebrates children and families and sheds light on the importance of noncustodial parents fulfilling child support obligations.

The event is open to the public at no charge.

The Chickasaw Nation Child Support Services was established to assist Native American children in receiving court ordered child support.

Services provided include: establishing paternity, child support orders, enforcing existing child support orders, mediation services and additional resources.
