ADA, Okla. – International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is Nov. 18. The Chickasaw Nation Department of Family Services is hosting the Love Lives On event 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at East Central University’s Chickasaw Business and Conference Center, 117 E. Main St.

This event is a time to remember family and friends who have died by suicide. Join the community of suicide loss survivors to find comfort and gain understanding as stories of healing and hope are shared.

On-site registration begins at 10 a.m. with the welcome and opening comments following at 10:30 a.m.

A screening of the documentaries “The Journey: A Story of Healing and Hope” and “The Journey Revisited” will begin at 11 a.m.

Presentations by local suicide loss survivors and small group discussions will also take place during the event.

The event is open to the public at no charge. Lunch will be provided.
