ADA, Okla. – The Chickasaw Nation Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Academy is hosting a biology and genetics workshop for students, grades fifth through twelfth, who have an interest in science.

Chickasaw citizen and evolutionary biologist, Dr. Chris Hamilton, will share a presentation about bats and hawkmoths and how they have evolved for survival.

The workshop will be 6 - 10 p.m. Friday, May 5 and 8 a.m. - noon, Saturday, May 6, at the STEM Academy, 301 Seabrook Road. Dinner will be provided Friday and breakfast will be provided Saturday.

The workshops are offered to students at no cost. Chickasaw preference will be given.
