ARDMORE, Okla. – The Chickasaw Nation Adult Learning Program has changed class times to 9–11 a.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays at the adult learning classroom, 920 Locust St.

Participants are requested to arrive at 8:30 a.m. to complete applications and assessments.

The program provides academic assistance to adults residing within the Chickasaw Nation who want to earn a General Equivalency Development (GED) diploma.

Throughout the course of the program, students will study science, math, social studies, writing and reading until they are deemed ready to take the GED test.

The program serves all adults ages 18 and older. Preference is given first to Chickasaw citizens then to other Native Americans with a valid CDIB and referring agency.

The program provides the cost of GED testing fees for Chickasaw citizens who demonstrate test readiness.
