Adult Learning Program helps citizens reach education goals

The Chickasaw Nation Adult Learning Program provides academic assistance to adults residing within the Chickasaw Nation who want to earn a General Equivalency Development (GED) diploma. Hundreds of citizens have received their GED by participating in the program.

Throughout the course of the program, students will study science, math, social studies, writing and reading until they are deemed ready to take the GED test.

The program serves all adults ages 18 and older. Preference is given first to Chickasaw citizens then to other Native Americans with a valid CDIB and referring agency.

The Adult Learning program provides the cost of GED testing fees for Chickasaw citizens who demonstrate test readiness.

Classes are located in Ada, Ardmore and Sulphur.
